Narciso Rodriguez is a celebrated fashion designer with Cuban heritage, who has made a name for himself in the industry with his unique and modern designs. He studied fashion at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, and honed his skills by freelancing for various companies in the city, including Anne Klein and Calvin Klein. In 1995, he achieved breakthrough success as the Design Director for both TSE in New York and Cerruti in Paris. It was during this time that he designed the iconic wedding gown for his friend, Carolyn Bessette, for her wedding to John Kennedy Jr. This success led to the creation of his eponymous label in 1997, which received the Best New Designer award from Vogue/VH1 and the Council of Fashion Designers in America.
